CNC Miller Programmer / Setter
Pontypool

About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Milling Machine Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join a reputable and growing precision engineering team based in Pontypool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with proven CNC experience to join a well-established manufacturer offering long-term stability, a competitive salary, and excellent employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program CNC Milling Machines using Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, or similar controls.
- Set and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality precision components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Conduct quality checks using a variety of measuring equipment.
- Optimise machining processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and output.
- Maintain machinery, tools, and ensure a safe, clean working environment at all times.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating milling machines.
- Proven experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc
- Solid background in setting and operating 5-axis machining centres.
- The ability to inspect machined components and ensure that they are to specification.
- Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling.
- Following safety procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Hours: Days Based
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 2:30pm
