Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Industrial Paint Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in and learn industrial painting and manufacturing. No previous painting experience is required. We will provide on-the-job training for the right candidate.

Duties

• Assist industrial painters with surface preparation and coating applications
• Clean and prepare parts for painting
• Mix paint and coatings according to specifications
• Help maintain paint equipment and work areas
• Load and unload materials when needed. Sometimes using a forklift.
• Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, including respirators and respiratory protection gear, during all tasks, following all safety procedures
• Punctuality and good attendance are a must – Showing up to work on time ready to start and returning from breaks on time.

Candidates for this position that demonstrate steady improvement and learning abilities will have the opportunity to move into a full-time painting position with the company and additional pay increases.
