They are seeking a Teacher for in-person instruction of Multilingual Learner Students during the BEST Camp, focusing on English Language acquisition and Literacy for various grade clusters. Responsibilities: - Work with Multilingual Learner Students in one of the following grade clusters: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, or 9-12 during BEST Camp - Implement targeted curriculum for their grade cluster created by the teachers - Focus on English Language acquisition & Literacy for K-8 grade clusters and credit recovery for grades 9-12 - Conduct short daytime field trips to locations such as Potter Park, Ebersole, and Michigan State University Required Qualifications: - Teacher for in-person instruction of Multilingual Learner Students - Ability to work with one of the following grade clusters: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, or 9-12 - Availability to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00am-4:00pm - Commitment to providing an excellent education to all students in a safe and nurturing environment - Passionate individuals dedicated to educational excellence Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in teaching English Language acquisition & Literacy for K-8 grade clusters - Experience in credit recovery for grades 9-12 - Experience with targeted curriculum development - Experience with field trips and outdoor educational activities
