Group/Division
The Semiconductor Products and Customers (Semi PC) business unit designs, builds and sells KLA’s product portfolio to help chip manufacturers meet high-quality standards to enable technologies like AI, data centers, automotive and electronic devices. Our inspection, metrology, and analytics systems detect and monitor defects across logic and memory chips, specialty semiconductors, wafers, reticles, advanced packaging, process equipment and materials. We also develop technologies for specialty processes, IC substrates, and PCB manufacturing, including etch and deposition, component inspection, and imaging and analytics.What You'll Do

Preferred Qualifications
KLA is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our semiconductor products development team in Israel. The candidate will participate in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions used in advanced semiconductor products.
You will work closely with software, systems, hardware, and field engineers to deliver high-quality products throughout the product lifecycle. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration within a global engineering organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software components for complex semiconductor systems.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, code reviews, testing, and release activities.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and applications engineers to define and implement product requirements.
- Investigate customer and field issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement robust solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and test plans.
- Contribute to software architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support product releases and sustaining engineering activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in C# and/or C++.
- Experience with object-oriented design and software engineering best practices.
- Familiar with AI tools for software development.
- Experience developing multi-threaded and distributed software systems.
- Experience with software design patterns and debugging techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrate ability to lead software development projects involving multiple software engineers, including technical planning, task coordination, execution tracking and delivery
