Our Mission

Kindling exists to spark the fire within—fueling everyday adventurers with snacks that are packed with protein and full of flavor. We’re here to prove that better-for-you doesn’t have to mean boring. And we’re building more than a brand—we’re building a lifestyle, a community, and a movement.

About the Role

Our community is always talking. In comments and DMs, in the Hello Kindling inbox, in Amazon and retail reviews, and across creators’ feeds. We need someone who keeps those conversations moving every day and makes sure creators, customers, and product all show up on time.

This is an execution role on the growth marketing team. You will run the day to day of our influencer and creator program, keep a steady flow of UGC coming in, answer our community, and report what happened. Your manager and the marketing team set the plan. You make it real, and you tell us what you are seeing on the ground.

This is a great first or second job in marketing. You will learn how a CPG brand builds a creator engine from the inside, with clear direction, clear tools, and room to take on more as you earn it.

What You’ll Do

Run the creator program

• Find, vet, and reach out to creators who fit our customer, with a focus on wellness, outdoor, and family creators in our priority markets.
• Manage gifting and seeding end to end. Build target lists, send product, track who posted, and follow up.
• Brief creators using the scripts and briefs the marketing and creative teams provide, then collect, organize, and tag the content that comes back.
• Keep usage rights and contract terms straight for every piece of content so the growth team can use it in ads.
• Manage our creator platforms and tracking tools and keep the creator roster, scorecard, and content folders current.
• Pack and ship PR boxes and seeding kits, and log product usage with the ops team.

Support organic social and the community

• Answer comments, DMs, and mentions in Kindling’s voice. Playful, real, never preachy.
• Help keep the Hello Kindling inbox clear. Flag product or shipping issues the same day.
• Draft captions and posts from the content calendar for your manager’s review.
• Support regional launches and retailer programs with local creator outreach and seeding, working 8 to 10 weeks ahead of each launch.

Reviews and reporting

• Run our ratings and reviews programs, including sampling campaigns and product fulfillment to reviewers.
• Watch Amazon and retail reviews each week and share a short summary of what customers are saying.
• Pull the monthly influencer, UGC, and organic social numbers into our reporting templates, and recap each campaign within two weeks.

What You’ll Bring

Must have

• 0 to 2 years of experience in social media, influencer, community, or marketing coordination. Internships, campus ambassador roles, and side projects count.
• You live on Instagram and TikTok and can name wellness, outdoor, and family creators without searching.
• Organized to a fault. You keep lists, follow up without being asked, and nothing falls through the cracks.
• Clear, warm writing in a caption, a DM, or a creator email.
• Comfortable in spreadsheets and basic social analytics. You can pull the numbers and explain them in plain words.
• Calm, kind judgment with frustrated customers.
• Self directed on a remote team. You ask for the parameters, then run.

Nice to have

• Experience gifting or managing creators, even at a small scale.
• Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite, Canva, CapCut, or an influencer platform.
• Basic video trimming skills for cutting creator content into short clips and hooks.
• Experience at a CPG, food, or early stage brand.
• A real love of the outdoors.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days

• You own the creator roster, seeding calendar, and content folders, and your manager can find anything in under a minute.
• Comments, DMs, and the Hello Kindling inbox get replies inside one business day.
• Your first monthly report is out on time using our templates.
• Seeding for the next retailer launch is live 8 to 10 weeks before the launch date.

In your first 12 months

• The growth team has a steady supply of rights cleared UGC every month.
• Every creator and campaign is tracked, and we can see which creators and content perform.
• You have taken on more ownership of the program because you earned it.

The Culture We're Building

We’re not just stacking resumes—we’re gathering the kind of people you’d want around a campfire. Curious minds. Brave creatives. Whole humans.

The Heartbeat – How we show up

• Be a Steady Flame – Transparent, consistent, and always lit with integrity.
• Invite Others to the Campfire – Every voice matters. Roast marshmallows, not ideas.
• Kindle Your Passions – Burnout isn’t a badge of honor. We value balance, walks in the woods, and midday creative breakthroughs.

The Output – What we expect

• Defend Our Den – Care about the craft. Own your wins and your misses.
• Seek Higher Ground – Challenge assumptions. Expand your view. Ask why (then why again).
• Take Swift Action – Light the match. Follow the spark. Adjust as you go.

Perks of the Gig

• Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
• Unlimited PTO + generous holidays
• Competitive parental leave (family-first, always)
• Tons of snacks, real talk, and laughter
• A career you’ll be proud of and a team that feels like family
