About Kestra:

Kestra is the universal orchestration platform — open source, declarative, and designed to orchestrate everything: data pipelines, IT automation, business workflows, and AI / agentic systems.

Kestra is trusted by over 10,000 organizations worldwide, including large financial institutions, global data platforms, and industrial groups such as JPMorgan Chase, Bloomberg, FILA, and Crédit Agricole, to orchestrate mission-critical workloads at scale, where reliability, transparency, and control are non-negotiable.

Backed by leaders from Datadog, dbt Labs, Hugging Face, and Algolia, Kestra is deployed in demanding production environments across data, infrastructure, and operational systems.

The open-source project is the foundation of everything we do. With close to 30,000 GitHub stars, hundreds of contributors, and a fast-growing global community, Kestra is built in the open — shaped by real-world usage, not marketing narratives.

We believe orchestration should remove complexity, not add more layers. And that the best platforms are built collaboratively, transparently, and with a strong sense of product truth.

Context:

Kestra is entering a new phase with the public launch of Kestra Cloud.

The technical foundations are already in place: a production-grade orchestration engine, a mature Cloud infrastructure, and growing adoption from both open-source users and enterprise customers.

The next step is to shape Kestra Cloud into a clear, reliable, and economically sustainable self-serve product.

In this role, you will join as a Senior Product Manager with a strong ownership scope on Kestra Cloud. You will work closely with experienced engineers, infrastructure and DevOps teams, analytics, finance, marketing, and go-to-market stakeholders to align product direction and execution.

You will play a central role in structuring, prioritizing, and delivering the Cloud roadmap, helping transform existing technical capabilities into a product that is intuitive, scalable, and commercially sound.

What you will do:

• Define and maintain the Kestra Cloud roadmap

• Turn existing technical building blocks into a coherent, usable, self-serve Cloud product

• Ensure UX consistency across console, entitlements, feature access, pricing, and limits

• Help design and iterate on Cloud packaging, tiers, metrics, and pricing

• Contribute to the end-to-end Cloud lifecycle: trials, activation, conversion, reliability, and cost control

• Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, billing, analytics, and go-to-market teams to deliver and launch

• Make informed tradeoffs, balancing simplicity, flexibility, and long-term sustainability

• Contribute to measurable outcomes: adoption, activation, conversion, clarity, and reliability

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years experience as a Product Manager on platform, infrastructure, or Cloud products

• Strong technical background, ideally with past experience as a software or infrastructure engineer

• Experience working on SaaS products, ideally self-serve or platform-oriented

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, low-process environment

• Clear and rigorous communicator, especially in written product documentation and decisions

• Strong sense of ownership with a collaborative mindset

• Comfortable working with globally distributed teams across time zones

• Ability to take initiative and iterate quickly based on feedback

Bonus points:

• Experience in a B2B software or open-source company selling directly to customers

• Exposure to usage-based or hybrid pricing models

• Solid understanding of Cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, managed services)

• Strong data and analytics mindset

• Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and developer communities

Before You Apply:

Let’s be transparent.

What we’re building at Kestra is ambitious and technically demanding.

Kestra Cloud sits at the intersection of open source, infrastructure, reliability, pricing, and go-to-market. It requires curiosity, judgment, and the ability to move forward without perfect answers.

This role may not be a fit if:

• You need heavy process or rigid structure to operate effectively

• You prefer narrowly scoped ownership with limited ambiguity

• You’re uncomfortable making decisions with incomplete information

• You’re looking for a fully mature “big company” environment

This role is a great fit if:

• You enjoy building and refining products from first principles

• You care deeply about clarity, simplicity, and developer experience

• You like working closely with engineers and business stakeholders

• You’re comfortable taking responsibility while collaborating as part of a team

• You want to contribute meaningfully to a product engineers depend on every day

What you get:

• The opportunity to work with a globally distributed, senior technical team

• Real ownership within a supportive and collaborative environment

• Direct exposure to product strategy and company priorities

• The freedom to build, experiment, and iterate

• A product used for mission-critical workloads, not demos
