Job Description
Your Role and Benefits
You Are the Face of IZA
For our guests, you are the host, the first point of contact, and the face of our restaurant. You ensure that every guest feels welcome from the very first moment and experiences IZA exactly as we envision it. In doing so, you keep an eye on the entire operation, make decisions, and ensure that the kitchen and service teams work together as one.
You Lead Your Team
You set the direction, motivate your team, and roll up your sleeves to help out when necessary. You’re responsible for staff scheduling, oversee the training of new employees, and ensure that everyone knows what to do. Even when things get hectic, you keep a cool head and create an environment where your team enjoys working and succeeds together.
You Think Like an Entrepreneur
You don’t just manage your restaurant’s day-to-day operations—you also keep a close eye on the numbers. You understand how labor costs, food costs, and occupancy rates are interconnected, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure efficient processes. In doing so, you strike the right balance between profitability, a great guest experience, and a motivated team.
You Have a Strong Point of Contact by Your Side
Your direct point of contact is our Head of Restaurant. Together with senior management, they set the framework, standards, and goals for our restaurants. Within this framework, you’ll have the freedom you need to manage your location independently, make decisions, and lead your team to success.
You’re responsible for the guest experience
From the moment guests enter the restaurant through ordering to payment, you ensure that our guests have an all-around great time at IZA. You manage table assignments and capacity, ensure smooth operations, and strike the right balance between efficient service and a relaxed atmosphere. At the same time, you ensure that our standards for quality, cleanliness, hygiene, and speed are maintained at all times.
You’re part of the IZA-Gang from the very beginning
We’re building something new right now. As one of our first restaurant managers, you’ll help shape not only your location but also the future of IZA. Your experience and ideas will directly influence our processes and standards. And as we grow, so do your opportunities—including the chance to train future restaurant managers for our next locations.
Your hard work should pay off
You’re taking on responsibility—and that should pay off. At IZA, you can expect attractive compensation based on your experience, qualifications, and level of responsibility. We give you the freedom to contribute your own ideas, actively help shape your location, and grow alongside us. With every new IZA restaurant, new opportunities and avenues for development emerge.
…and because we know how demanding the restaurant industry can be, your time off should be meaningful. You get the day off on your birthday. In addition, we typically close for the holidays between Christmas and shortly after New Year’s Day.
