Location: Brisbane (on-site, warehouse-based) | Type: Part-time/casual, flexible hours

We're bringing a new eutectic portable fridge to market — a genuine improvement on an established, well-known Australian brand, backed by real engineering and patented technology. Looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented person to help run product testing, assist with R&D, and support communication with our manufacturing partner in China.

This is a role for someone genuinely curious about how things work, comfortable with data and precise measurement, and reliable enough to run a test unsupervised and report back accurately — not just watch a dial and shrug.

What you'll be doing:

• Running structured product test cycles at the warehouse — logging power draw, temperature, and on/off cycle timing
• Recording results accurately and consistently — this data feeds directly into product decisions
• Assisting with general R&D — trialing design changes, testing components, flagging anything that looks off
• Helping source parts and liaise with our China-based manufacturer — checking shipments against spec
• General warehouse support related to product development

What we're looking for:

• Genuine mechanical/technical aptitude — refrigeration, electrical, or trade/engineering background well regarded but not essential if you can show real attention to detail
• Comfortable with basic spreadsheet/data recording — full training given
• Reliable and honest working independently
• Clear communicator, written and verbal
• Brisbane-based with reliable transport

What matters most: someone who'd notice if a part doesn't match spec, ask the right question rather than assume it's fine, and tell us the truth about a result even if it's not the one we wanted.
