Job Description
Summary: Integer Holdings Corporation is a global organization providing innovative technologies and manufacturing to Medical Device OEMs. The R&D Engineering Intern will gain meaningful work experience by collaborating on projects across various departments, receiving mentorship, and participating in networking opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work vital to business projects within the organization
- Collaborate with professionals from multiple departments
- Receive periodic and candid feedback on job performance from mentors or managers
- Ask questions and regularly check for understanding in support of development as an Intern
- Take part in orientation sessions and networking events designed to support personal growth and professional advancement
- Work as part of a team on a variety of projects that will require innovation and strategy to solve
- Prepare and present a summary of learnings and experiences to management, colleagues, and peers
- Perform other duties as needed and as directed by line of supervision
Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship, on a full-time basis
- Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree
- Participants must commit to a full-time, on-site internship for 10–12 weeks (40 hours per week)
- Demonstrate competence in written and oral communication
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures and cross functional teams
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload with multiple projects
- Maintain a calm demeanor that transcends the high energy, constantly changing production environment
- Possess a positive, can-do attitude
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making
- Proven ability of collaboration, innovation, motivation, interpersonal effectiveness, and successful completion of work
- Basic knowledge of technical writing, statistics, data analysis, and/or solid modeling
- Demonstrate a solid technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to be an effective contributor to a team as well as produce results as an individual
- Computer skills as required by stated accountabilities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
- Undergraduate students who have completed their second year of study at the college level at minimum
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, including mechanical or materials science
