The role reports to the Head of Marketing and is the senior point of reference for brand strategy, content and reputation in Italy, acting as the guardian of the brand in the Italian market.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Define the brand strategy for Italy, including positioning, creative territory and growth priorities, based on brand health data and business objectives.

• Build and own a brand personality for Italy, translating the Group's global brand platform into a tone, character and creative identity that genuinely works for the local audience.

• Initiate and lead brand building projects, such as campaigns, creative territories, distinctive brand assets and high profile partnerships, to grow the brand's relevance and recognition in the market.

• Set and own brand health goals for Italy, such as awareness, consideration and brand equity, using brand tracking data as the basis for strategic decisions.

• Define the strategy and the content editorial plan across channels, including website, social and product communication, as part of the broader brand strategy, ensuring brand identity consistency across all channels and materials

• Oversee the brand's online reputation and social media presence, keeping it consistent with brand voice and business priorities.

• Select and brief creative, content and communication agencies, evaluating their work on the basis of brand impact.

• Act as the Italian market's voice within the Group's international brand community, building on the Group's brand identity, tone of voice and naming frameworks as the foundation for everything developed locally.

• Build strategic alignment across the wider Marketing organisation, partnering with peer teams in other markets and with Legal, Product/Commercial, Tech, PR and Customer Experience, so the brand speaks with one voice everywhere it shows up.

• Manage and develop a team, defining priorities and planning.

Key Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in senior Brand Strategy, Brand Management or Brand Marketing roles, with real ownership of building, repositioning or transforming a brand.

• Proven experience in social media management, with up-to-date knowledge of platform trends and best practices.

• Experience developing brand platforms, creative territories or brand personas with a demonstrable business impact, ideally in multi market, retail, e-commerce or logistics environments.

• Ability to translate brand health data and business vision into strategic decisions, with full decision making autonomy and accountability for results.

• Seniority and executive presence to operate as a peer with senior, international stakeholders.

• Proven experience managing and developing people, managing brand budgets, and selecting and directing creative and communication agencies.

• Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken.
