Role Summary
Incubyte is hiring an NPI Engineer I to work on-site at a client's JDM partner facility in Gurugram. This person supports build and validation execution at the JDM, working with the on-site Senior NPI Engineer and the client's HQ-based Technical Program Manager (TPM). Be present for build events (EVT/DVT/PVT/MP) and day-to-day line activity at the JDM.
Support build planning with the JDM: line setup, work instructions, fixture/tooling readiness and build schedules.
Run functional, reliability/environmental and safety/compliance tests as per the test plans, and document results properly.
Report failures and defects found on the line and support root cause analysis with JDM engineering.
Follow the ECO/deviation process — no unauthorized changes to BOM, process or test procedures.
Keep the shared action-item/issue tracker current for your items.
Share accurate local data (yield, open issues) in daily stand-ups during builds.

Exposure to builds at a contract manufacturer or JDM/ODM.
Basic knowledge of DFM/DFT and test fixtures.
Able to read schematics, BOMs and mechanical drawings.
Strong bias for being physically present on the line.
Able to work Gurugram-based hours with overlap into US working hours, including calls with the US team until 10–11 PM IST.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
