As a QA/Test Developer Generalist, you will work in an agile, collaborative environment to recommend and develop testing standards and application of quality technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional team members on story development, from before definition through final deployment. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Testing Standards: Recommend and develop testing standards and application of quality technologies to ensure the product is robust and failure scenarios are considered and refactored. • Perform Exploratory Testing: Conduct exploratory testing using industry-leading practices to discover defects/bugs and work with coders and POs to determine root cause and prevent similar issues from happening in the future. • Drive Test Automation: Drive adoption of test automation, including unit tests, integration tests, and functional tests, to ensure efficient and effective testing processes. • Collaborate on Story Development: Work with cross-functional team members on story development, from before definition through final deployment, to ensure testability is built into the application from the ground up. • Identify Defects and Root Cause: Discover defects/bugs and work with coders and POs to determine root cause and how to prevent similar issues from happening in the future. • Exposure to Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with working in agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and applying agile principles to testing and quality assurance. • Testing Standards Development: Experience working with testing standards and quality technologies to ensure product robustness and failure scenario consideration. • Exploratory Testing Techniques: Exposure to industry-leading exploratory testing practices to identify defects and determine root causes. • Test Automation Frameworks: Familiarity with test automation frameworks, including unit tests, integration tests, and functional tests, to drive efficient testing processes. • Collaborative Story Development: Experience working with cross-functional teams on story development, from definition to deployment, to ensure testability is built into applications. • Test Automation Frameworks: Familiarity with multiple test automation frameworks, including unit tests, integration tests, and functional tests, is beneficial for driving efficient testing processes. • Advanced Exploratory Testing: Exposure to advanced exploratory testing techniques and industry-leading practices is advantageous for identifying complex defects and determining root causes. • Cloud-Based Testing Tools: Experience working with cloud-based testing tools and technologies is desirable for ensuring scalable and efficient testing processes.
