Job Type: Full-time
Location: Fully Remote
About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing B2B technology company operating a global marketplace that connects highly vetted technology professionals with startups and scale-ups across the US and Europe.
The business combines an established operation and sophisticated technology stack with a lean startup mentality. It is a highly remote organization that prioritizes speed, autonomy, experimentation, and measurable results over layers of corporate process.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Communications Manager to take ownership of media relations, PR, brand storytelling, and executive communications.
This is an ideal opportunity for a B2B SaaS communications or technology PR professional who knows how to turn business activity into compelling stories, build relationships with journalists, and secure earned media without depending on a traditional PR agency.
You’ll also work closely with the Founder and senior leadership team, developing their personal brands and positioning them as credible voices within the technology and startup ecosystem.
The role combines media relations, corporate communications, executive ghostwriting, thought leadership, social distribution, and modern content strategy. It requires someone who enjoys getting into the details, moving quickly, and owning outcomes from idea through execution.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a proactive communications and earned-media strategy focused on increasing brand awareness across North America and Europe.
Identify potential news stories, data points, customer successes, business developments, and industry trends that can generate media interest.
Pitch US technology, startup, business, and SaaS journalists directly and develop long-term media relationships.
Secure organic coverage across Tier-1 and relevant industry publications.
Increase the company's Share of Voice within the technology and B2B SaaS landscape.
Monitor media coverage, brand mentions, competitors, journalists, and relevant industry conversations.
Work directly with the Founder and C-level executives to develop distinctive personal brands and thought-leadership platforms.
Ghostwrite executive communications, including LinkedIn posts, X threads, opinion pieces, commentary, and other social content.
Translate complex business and technology ideas into clear, engaging narratives for different audiences.
Build repeatable content distribution systems across LinkedIn, newsletters, social media, and other relevant channels.
Repurpose executive insights and company stories into carousels, threads, newsletters, and other content formats.
Support employee advocacy initiatives that encourage team members to share and amplify company content.
Use AI and automation to improve the speed, consistency, and scalability of communications workflows.
Explore emerging opportunities such as GTM podcasts, executive branding, interactive newsletters, and other modern B2B marketing channels.
Analyze communications performance and continuously optimize media outreach and content distribution.
3+ years of relevant experience in B2B SaaS, technology PR, corporate communications, media relations, or executive communications.
Proven success pitching US technology media organically and securing meaningful earned coverage.
Experience working directly with journalists rather than relying exclusively on external PR agencies.
Strong understanding of the US tech media ecosystem and what makes a story newsworthy.
Exceptional English writing skills with C1/C2-level English proficiency.
Demonstrated executive ghostwriting experience, particularly for LinkedIn, X, thought leadership, or founder communications.
Strong storytelling and narrative-development skills.
Highly autonomous and comfortable taking full ownership of communications projects from concept to execution.
A scrappy, resourceful approach and the ability to generate results without large PR or advertising budgets.
Data-driven mindset with an understanding of media KPIs, Share of Voice, engagement, and content performance.
Comfortable experimenting with AI tools, automation, and modern content workflows.
Nice to have: Experience scaling a B2B SaaS or technology startup in the US, existing journalist relationships, GTM podcast experience, executive personal branding, employee advocacy, or familiarity with tools such as Muck Rack, Prowly, LinkedIn automation platforms, CRM/ATS systems, and AI content tools.
