Build Something That Matters
House of Hearts ABA provides in home ABA therapy to children ages 1 to 18. Now we are bringing in home ABA to families across greater Salt Lake City and Provo, and we are looking for the clinical leader who will build it with us on the ground.
You will not be building alone. You will step into a proven structure with the systems, processes, and infrastructure already built, and you will collaborate with an amazing clinical team that is committed to delivering the highest quality care. Your focus is leading the clinical operation on the ground in Utah: developing the team, growing our reach, and setting a high standard of care for every family we serve. If you are a BCBA who has led teams, loves the clinical work, understands the business behind it, and wants to help as many families as possible, we want to talk to you.
The Role
As Executive Clinical Director, you will lead the entire clinical operation in Utah. You will oversee our BCBAs and RBTs, own the quality of every treatment plan and session, and make sure each family receives the best clinical care possible. You will work closely with House of Hearts leadership on operations and growth, and you will share in the success of what you build through a performance based profit share.
What You Will Do
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Utah clinical team of BCBAs and RBTs.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop clinicians who share our commitment to quality care.
- Carry your own caseload in the early stages while the team is being built.
- Set and uphold clinical standards across assessments, treatment plans, supervision, parent training, and session quality.
- Make sure documentation, authorizations, and session notes meet Utah Medicaid and commercial payer requirements.
- Use CentralReach daily to manage scheduling, documentation, data collection, and clinical oversight.
- Partner with leadership on the operational side of the business, including intake, staffing, scheduling, utilization, and growth.
- Build strong relationships with families, pediatricians, schools, and referral sources across Salt Lake City and Provo.
- Track clinical and operational performance and turn the data into action.
Who You Are
- A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
- Licensed as a Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Utah, or able to obtain Utah licensure quickly.
- An experienced leader who has served as a Clinical Director, Lead BCBA, or in a similar role overseeing BCBAs and RBTs.
- Very strong clinically, with a track record of meaningful client progress.
- A vocal leader who sets the tone, gives clear direction, and holds the team to a high standard.
- Highly efficient in CentralReach.
- Someone who knows and understands the operational side of ABA, including authorizations, utilization, scheduling, payer requirements, and how clinical decisions affect the health of the business.
- Passionate about this work and excited to help as many families as possible.
- Based in or near the Salt Lake City or Provo area.
Compensation
- Launch phase: $85 to $100 per hour, based on experience.
- Salary: The role transitions to a salary of $95,000 to $130,000 per year, based on experience.
- Performance based profit share: You will receive a share of the profits from what you help build in Utah, so you get a piece of what you are working so hard to create.
Why House of Hearts
- Real ownership of the mission. You are building Utah from the ground up, not maintaining someone else's system.
- Upside tied to your impact. The profit share means your success and the region's success move together.
- Support behind you. You will have the backing of an established multi state organization, including credentialing, billing, authorizations, and operations support, so you can focus on leading great care.
- A family centered culture. Our name says it all. We lead with heart, and we hold ourselves to a high clinical standard.
