Losing something as large and colorful as a hot air balloon sounds impossible, but it can happen. For this reason, the chase crew has a very important job that consists of navigating the roads while using radios to communicate with the pilot and keep the balloon in sight. The chase crew is also responsible for shuttling customers to/from our desert launching/landing sites, assisting with setting up and preparing the balloon for flight, and often helps identify potential landing spots for the pilot. Once the balloon lands, the chase crew has several duties including aiding the balloon in landing safely, helping to deflate and pack up the balloon, and setting up the post-flight meal for customers. When the balloon has landed and everything is packed away, you will have had a new adventure. If this sounds like the perfect part-time job for you, keep reading for information and requirements.
