Senior Digital Project Manager - UK

Location: UK (Remote / Hybrid) Type: Full-Time, Permanent

At Horizontal Digital, we hold ourselves to one key belief: You’re only as good as your worst customer experience. This mantra is what drives our digital consultancy to think beyond the easy answers and instead create websites, apps, portals and other experiences that solve customer needs for Fortune 500 companies in intuitive and empathetic ways. And we make this lofty standard a reality by fusing strategy, data, design and technology together to arrive at solutions that set the bar higher for everyone.

We use these values to fuel superior results:

Lock arms We forge relationships that make our impact 1,000x stronger. This means working across departments and engaging both our clients and our communities to deliver the greatest good.

Show hustle We’re not ones to sit on our hands and wait. Instead, we anticipate opportunities, collectively roll up our sleeves and find ways to execute the exceptional.

Embrace change From new technologies to workplace philosophies, we welcome the unexpected and constantly anticipate what’s next.

Elevate empathy We listen before we take action. This means understanding a variety of perspectives and holding ourselves to a higher standard of accountability.

Never settle We motivate each other to push past the easy answers and collectively arrive at bigger, more inspiring ideas.   But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.   As our Senior Digital Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution and delivery of complex digital projects — websites, apps, ecommerce, CRM and marketing platforms — ensuring they land on time, on budget and aligned with strategic objectives. You'll act as the bridge between internal teams, external partners and clients, bringing strong organisation, stakeholder management and a lead-with-agility-and-empathy mindset to everything you do.

• Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, data protection regulations and security protocols

• Maintain rigorous project documentation, reporting and risk management practices

• Monitor budgets and resources to ensure optimal efficiency and return on investment

Who you are:

• Commercially aware, balancing quality, efficiency and profitability when shaping scopes, roadmaps and delivery recommendations

• Collaborative, able to lock arms with cross-functional teams — marketing, design, strategy, IT, product, analytics — and external vendors to align objectives

• A relationship-builder who fosters transparent, trusted partnerships with clients, stakeholders and leadership

• Customer-centred, listening closely to client and user needs and translating them into clear, actionable requirements

• An advocate for accessibility, usability and inclusivity in every deliverable

• Adaptable, embracing new technologies, tools and methodologies as they emerge

• Never satisfied with the baseline — always pushing teams toward more inspiring outcomes

What you bring:

• Proven experience delivering complex digital projects on time and within budget matters most; a background in Project Management, Digital Media, Business or a related field is a plus

• 5+ years' experience managing digital projects such as websites, apps, ecommerce, CRM or marketing platforms

• Strong understanding of web technologies and project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet)

• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
