Human Resources Coordinator
Program & Location: Administration - Hyannis, MA Campus
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, further education in the field of Human Resources is helpful
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000 (Education & experience dependent)
Status: Full Time, 40hrs/week
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life.
HR Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond, process and close assigned tickets;
- Conduct weekly New Hire Orientation;
- Employee New Hire Tasks: (ProTraining Enrollment/MedTrainer Enrollment/EHR Credentials);
- License/Degree Verifications (New/current Employees- update EHR, Maintain Agency Roster);
- Respond to all calls, emails and tickets in a timely manner;
- Monthly Newsletter Education Article;
- MedTrainer/ProTrainings Management and reporting;
- Evaluation Reports and Tracking;
- Monthly visits to their Programs as part of the Quality Initiate;
- Attend Monthly Managers Meeting for all agency programs;
- Schedule appointments with staff requesting HR assistance/exit interviews;
- Assist with Workers Compensation;
- Coordinate/Host/Attend Internal or External Job Fairs through Handshake & Local Colleges;
- Virtual Job Fairs (create, train managers, advertise);
- Recruitment Research and special Projects;
- Candidate Searches through Job Boards;
- Assist HR Director with internal investigations (HR Hotline Initial response, camera footage);
- Facebook/Radio Advertising/Carousel Ads/Indeed Homepage;
- Complete quarterly Quality Assessments for each program (Tally);
- Regulatory File Audits and Preparation;
- Will assist in administrative responsibilities focused on office progress and improving office operations and procedures;
- Other duties as assigned.
HR Coordinator Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices;
- Experience in administration of benefits and other HR programs;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Skills in database management and record keeping;
- Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner;
- Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
HR Coordinator Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience in Human Resources
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
