Ready to make a real difference in the Emergency Department? Here's what you'll be doing:
- Master the Art of Phlebotomy – Collect blood samples with skill and confidence (at least 25% of your scheduled hours). You'll be the go-to person for smooth, professional specimen collection that keeps things moving!
- Keep the Lab Running Smoothly – Process specimens, enter orders, and handle point-of-care testing like a pro. You're the backbone that keeps our lab operations flowing.
- Transport with Care – Safely move laboratory specimens and materials where they need to go, ensuring nothing gets lost in the shuffle.
- Be the Friendly Face – Interact with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers with genuine courtesy and professionalism. Your positive attitude makes a real impact on their experience.
- Follow the Playbook – Execute all laboratory support procedures according to established protocols, working under limited supervision while maintaining the highest standards.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills is required.
- A minimum of six months experience in phlebotomy is required
