Previous estimating experience is not required for the right candidate with a solid manufacturing background and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities

- Review and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and customer specifications to understand part requirements.
- Develop an understanding of manufacturing processes and how they affect production costs and pricing.
- Enter and maintain estimates using the company’s ERP system.
- Contact outside vendors to obtain pricing for materials, finishing, secondary operations, and other required services.
- Compile vendor pricing and other cost information to support accurate and competitive estimates.

- Communicate professionally with customers and vendors to clarify requirements and obtain information as needed.
- Assist with customer inquiries and help resolve quoting or customer satisfaction issues.

- Manage multiple requests and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and business ethics standards.

We are willing to train the right person in estimating. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, dependability, and a desire to learn are more important than having previous estimating experience.
