Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in music theory, notation, history, listening, composition, singing, and instrument playing.
• Adapt instruction for students of different abilities, backgrounds, and learning needs.
• Teach correct vocal and instrumental technique, posture, interpretation, and musicianship.
• Assess student progress through performances, practical evaluations, written work, and feedback.
• Prepare students for examinations, auditions, recitals, concerts, and school events.
• Organize or support rehearsals and school performances, including Annual days, choir, band, orchestra, or everyday assembly.
• Maintain instruments, sheet music, audio equipment, and teaching resources.
• Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress, performances, and expectations.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school leaders to support curriculum goals, school events, and arts integration.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, lesson-planning, and student records.
