Welcome Team Member at GuestHouse in Margate, England, GB

Hello Margate! ? Now recruiting for a Welcome Team Member at No.42 Margate by GuestHouse. Love the sea breeze? Think a smile can be more refreshing than an ocean dip? Can you turn a weary traveller into a smiling guest faster than you can say “room with a view”? Here at No.42 Margate by GuestHouse, we’re a small but stylish, family-run boutique hotel on the bracing Kent coast, and we’re looking for a Welcome Team Member to greet our guests with sunshine (even when the Margate weather doesn’t cooperate!). What you’ll be doing: Welcoming sandy-footed holidaymakers, romantic weekenders and coastal explorers. Checking in and out guests with warmth, humour and just the right hint of seaside charm. Sharing insider tips on the best local boutiques, hidden coves and sunset spots (obviously, our Pearly Cow Terrace and rooftop bar will be at the top of your list!). Supporting our bar team by making the occasional tea, coffee or Seaside Martini. Keeping our lobby and lounge as welcoming as your smile. What we’re looking for: A natural host with a talent for making guests feel instantly at home. Someone who stays cool under pressure, even when the tide (or check-in queue) comes in all at once. A gift for conversation, from answering “Where’s the beach?” to “Which rockpool is best for crabbing?”. Hospitality experience is lovely, but a sparkling personality is non-negotiable! If your aspiration is to work for a company that understands you and trusts your instincts when it comes to hospitality, and you’ve been looking for this kind of role for a while, guess what? We’ve been looking for you too! What’s in it for you? Work in a stylish, intimate hotel that feels more like a home than a hotel group. Be part of a small, close-knit team where your ideas matter. Competitive pay and plenty of guest-powered stories. An extra holiday day for your birthday. All breaks are paid. Your own team room, complete with a pantry full of food to enjoy whenever you like. Grab a snack! Plus, enjoy a free meal on shift. Stay and dine with your family and friends in any of our hotels, restaurants and spas at a great discount. The joy of making someone’s coastal getaway truly unforgettable. If you can make a guest feel as welcome as a deckchair on a sunny day, we want to meet you! ☀️
