Job Description
Summary: Goldman Sachs is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm. The Wealth Management Ayco Analyst role involves providing personalized financial planning and investment strategy services to clients, conducting financial analyses, and cultivating client relationships to ensure optimal financial outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized, comprehensive financial planning, investment strategy, and tax services through one-on-one consultations with individual and/or corporate clients, including corporate employees, executives, and high-net-worth individuals
- Prepare sophisticated financial reports and analyses covering critical areas such as cash flow optimization, income tax projections, investment allocation strategies, performance evaluations, and estate planning flowcharts, translating complex data into actionable insights
- Engage in extensive telephone and/or face-to-face interactions with clients and their external advisors, serving as a trusted resource to gather essential information and deliver expert financial advice
- Prepare accurate and timely income tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial outcomes
- Actively contribute to and lead various financial planning projects and in-depth analyses, driving strategic initiatives forward
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of brokerage account operations, including opening, funding, and transaction processing, to ensure a seamless and superior client experience
- Participate in client meetings to gain deep insights into our service delivery model and client deliverables, continuously enhancing your understanding of client needs and expectations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, for efficient data management and communication
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
- Unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and discretion
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and delivering unparalleled client service
- Proven track record of successful cross-training, task-sharing, and fostering mutually supportive teamwork
- Must be innovative, demonstrate proactive time management, and possess a strong follow-through to ensure task completion and project success
Preferred Qualifications:
- FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 preferred; required within 4 months of hire
