Job Description
Associate, Business Development – Enterprise Technology
San Francisco, Austin, or New York
GLG is the world's insight network. We connect business leaders with experts who have the knowledge and experience they need to make better, faster decisions. Our Enterprise Technology team is growing, and we are looking for a driven Business Development Associate to join us and help build our next chapter.
This is an opportunity for someone with BDR experience who is ready to hit the ground running, learn GLG's platform and the enterprise technology landscape, and contribute immediately to our top-of-funnel pipeline. For the right person, this role has a clear path toward owning and managing a dedicated set of net new logo accounts independently.
What You'll Do
• Execute high-volume email and outbound outreach campaigns targeting enterprise technology prospects to generate qualified meetings for the VP of Business Development
• Research target accounts and contacts to craft personalized, relevant outreach that resonates with senior decision-makers
• Manage and maintain accurate pipeline data in Salesforce, ensuring lead and activity tracking is up to date with a high standard of data hygiene and discipline
• Log all outreach activity, lead dispositions, and pipeline movement in Salesforce consistently so the team has a clean, reliable view of the business at all times
• Collaborate closely with the VP of BD to develop outreach sequences and messaging in Groove
• Partner cross-functionally with Account Management and Client Services teams to support smooth handoffs and ensure a seamless client experience
• Support the broader BD team on strategic initiatives, account research, and prospecting within priority verticals
• Develop a strong understanding of GLG's products, value proposition, and the enterprise technology market to improve outreach quality over time
• Over time, take on ownership of a defined patch of net new logo accounts, managing the full outbound prospecting to close
What We're Looking For
• 1 to 3 years of BDR or SDR experience, ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment selling to enterprise technology companies
• Proven track record of hitting activity and meeting-booked targets
• Strong Salesforce hygiene and discipline. Logging everything, keep records clean, and understand why good data matters for the whole team
• Experience using email sequencing tools such as Groove, Outreach, or Salesloft
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, concise outreach
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build, grow, and eventually own a book of business
• Comfortable operating independently and taking initiative without heavy direction
• Hungry, humble, and coachable
Nice to Have
• Familiarity with the enterprise technology landscape including AI, data infrastructure, or cloud
• Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
