Resident Support Representative | Remote at GC Realty &… · AR

Bilingual customer service pro in Argentina? Let's build your career together.

Picture this: instead of racing through a call queue where nobody knows your name, you're part of a small, close-knit team supporting the residents of a growing Chicago property management company. Your managers know you, your ideas get heard, and your growth actually matters.

That's what we offer at GC Realty & Development, LLC. We manage homes for about 1,500 residents in Chicago, and we've grown year after year for more than two decades. As the company expands, so do the opportunities for the people on our team.

Working hours that make sense from Argentina

Our office runs on U.S. Central Time, which is only 2 to 3 hours behind Argentina (depending on the season). That means a normal workday without overnight shifts, and real-time collaboration with your teammates and the residents you support.

Your role in a nutshell

As a Resident Support Representative, you'll be the friendly, reliable voice residents reach when they need help. You'll answer phone calls, live chats, text messages, and emails, solve problems quickly, and partner with other departments when an issue needs more hands. You'll also help coordinate move-outs and pitch in on administrative work. If you stay composed when things get busy and you care about getting details right, you'll do well here.

Day to day, you will:

• Be the first point of contact for residents across phone, chat, SMS, and email, making sure every question gets a timely, accurate answer
• Keep inboxes and text threads under control by reviewing and responding to every message
• Work with maintenance, leasing, accounting, and other teams to find solutions that work for both residents and property owners
• Represent the GC Realty standard of service in every conversation, whether it's a quick question or a tense complaint
• Join weekly team meetings and regular one-on-ones with your manager, bringing ideas to improve how we work
• Spot gaps in our processes and raise them in our L10 meetings so the team can fix them together
• Cover for teammates in other Resident Service roles when needed and take on extra projects from your manager

What we're looking for:

• At least 3 years of customer service experience supporting U.S. customers
• Advanced, fluent English with clear, easy-to-understand pronunciation
• Comfort handling difficult conversations with patience and professionalism
• A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• A stable internet connection and a quiet, dependable home office
• Genuine enjoyment of helping people, all day, every day

Compensation and perks:

• $5.00 to $7.00 USD per hour, paid every week
• Yearly performance bonus of up to 10% of your earnings
• $25 bonus for every 5-star Google review that mentions you by name
• Book Club reimbursement: up to $500 per year for reading
• 10 days of paid time off (accrued)
• Your birthday off, paid (taken during your birthday month)
• 7 paid holidays
