Field Sales Representative

Company: Full Throttle Marine

Location: St. Augustine, FL32080 (First Coast Region)

Employment Type: 100% Commission-Based, 1099 Independent Contractor

Schedule: Flexible

The Opportunity

We're hunting for a fearless, charismatic Field Sales Representative who can own the St. Augustine market and become the embodiment of Full Throttle Marine. This is a commission-only role for someone who doesn't just tolerate outdoor environments—they thrive in them.

Boat shows, fishing tournaments, marinas, waterfront events, and private docks are your hunting grounds. You'll build unshakeable relationships with boat owners and turn conversations into loyal, recurring revenue streams. You'll move our flat-rate service packages and Full Throttle Club memberships with the kind of authenticity and energy that makes people actually want to do business with you.

If you're obsessed with the water, energized by human connection, and hungry to earn what you're actually worth, this role was built for you.

What You'll Do

• Own the St. Augustine waterfront: marinas, boat ramps, yacht clubs, dry stacks, and private docks become your territory
• Command the room at boat shows, fishing tournaments, waterfront festivals, and high-traffic community events
• Hunt down and engage recreational powerboat owners with a consultative, relationship-first sales approach that actually works
• Close deals on service packages (maintenance, detailing, repair) and Full Throttle Club memberships that generate recurring revenue
• Build strategic partnerships with marina managers, dock masters, and marine retailers that become referral machines
• Keep your pipeline loaded and deliver weekly activity reports that prove your dominance
• Be the living, breathing embodiment of Full Throttle Marine: professional, polished, and genuinely passionate about the boating lifestyle

What We're Looking For

• Someone who is fully committed to quality workmanship, reliability, and delivery
• Natural communicator who builds authentic connections instantly. You read people and adapt your approach effortlessly
• Self-directed entrepreneur with an ownership mentality. You don't need hand-holding; you execute and own the results
• Energized by outdoor environments. Docks, events, sun, and salt air aren't just tolerable; they're where you come alive
• Proven sales track record (preferred); marine, outdoor, or lifestyle industry experience is a serious advantage
• Existing network within the local boating or fishing community. This is gold for us
• Reliable transportation and valid Florida driver's license (non-negotiable)
• Professional presence paired with genuine enthusiasm for the water lifestyle
• Bilingual capability (English/Spanish) is highly valued in this market

Nice to Have

• Personal boat ownership or hands-on marine maintenance experience
• Social media savvy and the ability to leverage personal networks for lead generation
• Event coordination or community engagement background
• Knowledge of St. Augustine's boating community, from the Intracoastal and Matanzas River to Anastasia Island, and the local event calendar
• Track record of exceeding commission-based sales targets

Compensation & Benefits

Unlimited Earning Potential:

• 20% commission on every Full Throttle Club membership you sell
• 10% commission on every service ticket you book
• Performance bonus: Cross $5,000 in earnings in a month and your rates jump 50% for the rest of the month (Club becomes 30%, services become 15%)

No Limits, No Strings:

• No base salary, no cap, no draw you owe back, no quota you get fired for missing
• Complete schedule flexibility: you control when, where, and how much you work

Earning Potential:

• Baseline: $49,000 annually
• Target: $65,000 annually
• Stretch: $82,000 annually
• Top performers in this dense market consistently exceed $117,000

Additional Support:

• Branded materials and professional apparel provided
• Comprehensive marketing support
• Defined territory with brand recognition that opens doors
• Expert technicians handling the work behind you

Why This Role Stands Out

The marine service industry is being transformed, and Full Throttle Marine is leading the charge. We're a fresh, premium brand that speaks to a new generation of boat owners who demand professionalism, warmth, and exceptional service. If you've never fit the mold of traditional marine sales but you're obsessed with the water and connecting with people, we're looking for you. This is your chance to build something real, make serious money, and do it on your own terms. No corporate nonsense. No artificial caps. Just pure opportunity for someone ready to dominate.
