Tenure Track Faculty Positions in Communication Sciences and Disorders (two positions available)
Position Description: Nine-month tenure track faculty appointment with academic and clinical teaching responsibilities. The selected candidate will mentor undergraduate and graduate students in the classroom and the clinic, conduct and disseminate research in area(s) of interest. Provide service to university, community, state and profession. The successful candidate must effectively mentor students in academic, clinical, and research activities. In addition, successful candidates will need to meet the United States criteria for eligibility for employment. This posting is being used to fill two vacancies; applicants will be considered for both available positions. These positions are on-campus positions and are not eligible for remote work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Research Degree (Ph.D., EdD.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field; ABD candidates are encouraged to apply. Must hold the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and be eligible for Kansas licensure. May consider qualified applicants who are interested in pursuing a terminal degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
All areas of expertise within the field of communication sciences and disorders will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with clinical and/or teaching experience.
Rank: Dependent on qualifications, education, and experience; Assistant / Associate Professor / Professor
Appointment Date: August 2027
