Backed by leading global banks and operating at the intersection of technology, finance, and regulation, we are powering the future of finance, together. There are no precedents for what we're doing. With you on our side, we'll be setting new ones every day.

Eligibility
This is a hybrid role based out of Connecticut, and requires you to be located in the tri-state area. You must be eligible to work in the US as we are not able to sponsor visas.
The IT Support Engineer role
Fnality is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our global IT team and provide hands-on technical support to colleagues across the US and wider global team.
This is a broad role for someone who enjoys combining end-user support with endpoint engineering and technology improvement. You’ll work across devices, Microsoft 365, identity and access, SaaS applications and endpoint security, while helping us develop our future workplace technology environment.
We currently operate a predominantly macOS environment managed through Jamf, with a future transition towards Windows and Microsoft Intune. We’re therefore looking for someone with strong experience across both Apple and Microsoft environments who can support what we have today while helping build what comes next.
As a growing organisation operating in regulated financial services, we need someone who is hands-on, security-conscious and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll do
- Provide high-quality technical support to US colleagues across hardware, software, applications, connectivity and access
- Own and resolve service desk requests, including more complex end-user and endpoint issues
- Configure, deploy and maintain Mac and Windows devices, including onboarding, replacements and equipment lifecycle management
- Administer and support our existing Jamf Pro environment, including enrolment, configuration profiles and device compliance
- Support the development and rollout of our future Windows and Microsoft Intune environment
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange
- Support Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, authentication and identity and access management
- Manage joiner, mover and leaver activities, including accounts, devices and SaaS access
- Support the integration and administration of SaaS tools, including SSO, SAML and SCIM
- Assist with endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, patching and security incident response
- Maintain clear IT documentation and knowledge articles
- Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve the user experience and make IT Support more scalable
- Work closely with colleagues across IT, Security and the wider global organisation.
- These responsibilities reflect Fnality's existing IT Support operating model, which covers service desk support, onboarding/JML, device logistics, Jamf and M365 administration, enterprise tooling, incident response and vulnerability management.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years' experience in IT support, desktop engineering, endpoint engineering or a similar hands-on technical role
- Strong experience supporting both macOS and Windows 10/11
- Practical experience with Jamf Pro and Apple device management
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune and modern Windows endpoint management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with device provisioning, application deployment, MFA and identity/access management
- Understanding of endpoint security, patching and vulnerability management.
- Experience supporting a remote or hybrid workforce
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the confidence to take ownership of issues through to resolution
- Clear communication skills and the ability to support both technical and non-technical colleagues.
It would be great if you also have
- Experience migrating from Mac/Jamf to Windows/Intune
- Experience with Windows Autopilot and Conditional Access
- Apple Business Manager experience
- Experience administering Jira, Confluence or Jira Service Management
- Knowledge of SSO, SAML, SCIM and SaaS application integrations
- PowerShell or other automation experience
- Experience working in fintech, banking, payments or another regulated environment
- Relevant Microsoft, Jamf or endpoint-management certifications.
About you
You’ll be someone who is technically confident but still enjoys supporting people. You’re comfortable working autonomously, investigating unfamiliar problems and getting hands-on rather than simply escalating issues.
You’ll also be proactive. We want someone who will spot recurring problems, improve documentation and processes, automate where it makes sense and help us continue to mature our IT environment.
Why Fnality?
You’ll be joining Fnality at an interesting point in our technology journey. Alongside supporting our existing environment, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape how we manage workplace technology in the future, including our evolution towards Windows and Intune.
This is a role with genuine scope to influence how IT support and endpoint management operate within a growing, international financial technology organisation.
A bit more about us
Digital transformation is changing our lives, work and businesses. While other sectors evolve, however, financial markets remain slow, fragmented and siloed. What the world needs now is a future-facing financial system for the digital age.
At Fnality, we have been speaking – and listening – to the real users of today’s financial systems. From businesses to banks, there is a clear, collective ambition for a simpler, faster, safer and more resilient payment system; one that can move and settle money quickly and efficiently, with minimized risk and much more transparency.
Fnality Global Payments
We are building a network of new payment systems that will enable tokenised, peer-to-peer markets.
Fnality Global Payments (FnGP) will comprise a series of national systems, each regulated in its home jurisdiction. We call each of these a Fnality Payment System (FnPS).
In each payment system, a Fnality settlement asset will act as the settlement/payment asset for any Payment (P), Delivery v, Payment (DvP) or payment vs. payment (PvP) need.
FnGP are underpinned by Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). The nature of DLT is such that it enables FnGP to:
· Operate a true peer-to-peer market
· Allow for immediate settlement
· Interoperate across business platforms and jurisdictions
The key benefits of the above are:
· Reduced counter-party and credit risk
· Reduced operational risk
· Efficient liquidity management
· An ability to move resources from risk mitigation to business growth
