Our debt counselling business, National Debt Advisors, is one of the top five largest debt counselling companies in South Africa, with a very strong track record of helping South Africans become debt-free. We’re growing, and we’re looking for driven sales professionals to grow with us.

The role

As a Senior Sales Advisor, you’ll do a preliminary assessment with each client to understand their financial situation and show them how debt review can help. You’ll send the client their documents and make sure every document comes back complete. Then you’ll guide the client all the way until they make their first successful payment. This is a high commission-earning position: the better you look after your clients, the more you earn.

Key responsibilities

• Do preliminary financial assessments with clients telephonically
• Explain debt review clearly and honestly, and help clients make an informed decision
• Send out client documentation and follow up until all signed documents are returned
• Support and follow up with each client until their first successful payment is made
• Manage your own pipeline of clients and follow up on all pending clients
• Keep accurate client records and notes on our CRM and dialler systems
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
• Follow all NCA, POPIA and company compliance standards

Minimum requirements

• Matric (Grade 12)
• At least 2 years of proven call centre sales experience in debt review in a senior sales advisor/closer role
• A strong track record of meeting sales targets
• Clear ITC and criminal record
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Computer literate (CRM, dialler, MS Office)
• Contactable references

Advantageous

• Debt Counsellor certificate
• Knowledge of the debt review process and the National Credit Act
• A financial qualification
• Living in the northern suburbs

Working hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 (shift options 11:00–20:00 Monday to Thursday, until 15:00 on Fridays), plus one Saturday per month.
