Customer Service / Inside Sales at FCX Performance in Chula Vista, CA

Summary: Applied Industrial Technologies is a leading value-added distributor and technical solutions provider of industrial motion and related maintenance supplies. They are hiring a full-time customer service representative to provide support to the sales team and customers, focusing on building positive business relationships.

Responsibilities:
- Customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting / returns
- Sourcing parts
- Assist in generating sales
- Help in the stockroom as needed, deliver orders to customers as needed

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ year customer service or inside sales, mechanical or maintenance experience
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, sense of humor
- Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Mechanical aptitude
- Computer knowledge including Excel
- Valid driver's license & clean driving record (MVR)
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to offer sponsorship of work visas for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industrial distribution or parts counter environment preferred
- SAP/ERP experience a plus
