WAREHOUSE PERSON Full-Time Hourly · Location: Roseland Burlington, ON, Burlington, ON, CA Position Summary: In this position, your day will consist of operating Material Handling Equipment to move around the warehouse to prepare products for shipping and/or receiving. You will be expected to follow Health & Safety and Food Safety standards and ensure the accuracy of the orders for customer service excellence. Key Responsibilities: • Safely operate an end rider, including pre-shift and post-shift equipment check • Complete customer orders efficiently and with accuracy to be shipped out for next day delivery  • Load orders onto delivery trucks using safe handling practices  • Follow instructions and communicate with lead hand  • Preparing pallets for shipping to our customers • Working in a variety of temperature zones dry and refrigerated (20 to 35 degrees Fahrenheit) • Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role • Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Roseland Produce • Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices • Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment • Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: • Previous experience in a similar position with knowledge of produce preferred  • Experience operating material handling equipment. • Ability to work in a past paced, physically demanding environment, lifting (from 10 to 80 lbs) • Good communication skills (reading and writing) and strong customer service mentality • Ability to work in multiple environments including colder climates - refrigerated areas  • A good attitude, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment • Must demonstrate a proven record of consistent on-time attendance Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (9:00am - 7:00pm)
