Opportunity Manager, Digital Talent - Supervising… at EY · CABA

The opportunity

We’re looking for an Opportunity Manager to support the Opportunity and Product Management Lead in managing digital Talent requests from intake to go/no-go decision. Working with Product Managers, approved submitters, Global Platforms, Integration teams and Enterprise Technology (ET), you’ll ensure requests are clearly defined, correctly routed, prioritized by business value and urgency, and tracked through Talent governance and the ET opportunity lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities

Intake, Triage & Prioritization

• Manage and prioritize requests, confirming requirements, scope, business value, urgency and due dates before submission.
• Triage requests to the right path and owner, reducing redirection, cancellation and resubmission.
• Align requests with the Talent Tech Roadmap and inventory; maintain one trusted view of status, age and priority.
• Support the central opportunity repository: document requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria; partner with developers on design and build; coordinate testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements Quality & Submission Readiness

• Vet opportunities with approved submitters, including monthly forum review, before raising ServiceNow tickets.
• Confirm business requirements before solutioning and update opportunity records as scope changes.
• Prepare Product Alignment reviews, confirming product strategy fit, productizability, scope, sponsorship and projected ROI.

Governance, Reporting & Communication

• Prepare Business Priorities Forum materials, decision logs, follow-up actions and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain pipeline dashboards showing status, aging and decisions to reduce manual follow-up.
• Use lessons learned and recurring pain points to improve intake, data quality and ET handoffs.

Skills and attributes for success

• Opportunity intake, triage and value-based prioritization.
• Clear, submission-ready requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and UAT.
• Portfolio and pipeline reporting, dashboards, governance support and decision documentation.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow opportunity management and enterprise HR platforms.
• Stakeholder management, facilitation and clear communication; strong organization and attention to detail.

Within your first 12–24 months, you will:

• Consolidate the Talent technology inventory into one accurate source with clear ownership, status and sunset decisions.
• Help launch a central repository for all Talent requests: define requirements, partner on build and lead testing, go-live and adoption.
• Establish documented intake and triage with clear routing; improve submission readiness to reduce redirection, cancellation and resubmission.
• Deliver one trusted pipeline view of status, age and priority; reduce cycle time and manual follow-up.
• Operationalize Business Priorities Forum and Product Alignment materials, decision logs and follow-up actions.
• Build effective relationships with approved submitters, Product Managers and ET opportunity contacts.

To qualify you must have

• Relevant experience in opportunity management, PMO, portfolio operations or business analysis.
• Experience defining requirements, scope and business value; coordinating business and technical intake; and supporting system build and testing, ideally for workflow, intake or portfolio tools.
• Experience supporting governance forums, decision tracking and executive-ready reporting.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or comparable opportunity, portfolio or work management tools.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization and analytical skills; attention to detail and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
