We are seeking an entry level Mechanical Engineer for the following job related responsibilities:
1. Support Product Design. Provide Mechanical Engineering support to the design, development and selection of basic hardware components utilizing fundamental mechanical engineering principles, theories and techniques. Assigned duties may include design and development of specific modules, mechanisms or components to meet specified design requirements. May receive direction from senior engineering staff, and also may be responsible to provide direction to drafting.
2. Perform Mechanical Analyses. Obtain working knowledge of company standard analysis tools. Perform basic static, dynamic and heat transfer analyses of systems. Compile data for investigation by engineering team.
3. Support Verification/Validation of Design. Support the fabrication and testing of designed equipment. Support the field testing of hardware.
4. Prepare Documentation. Generate and review the technical content of drawings, engineering specifications, reports and other documentation. Generate and present design review packages for internal and external audiences.
5. Support Continuous Improvement. Acquire a working knowledge of EES Quality System and the Mechanical Design Process. Acquire up-to-date knowledge of developments in mechanical engineering disciplines.
6. Support to Sustainment. Provide Engineering support to current products. Manage material issues, perform root cause assessments of discovered issues. perform analysis as required to verify validity of proposed solutions.
- Gathering, preparing, and maintaining engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc;
- Preparation of design documents and supporting calculations;
- Performing assignments using standard practices, techniques, procedures, and criteria;
- Performing engineering activities through verbal direction and under the supervision of senior engineering staff;
- Thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches;
- Continuous improvement of job-related, engineering technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance;
- Effective oral and written communication skills;
- Support of company’s goals and represents the company positively and professionally. Conceptual, preliminary and detailed design with Electrical projects.
Candidate Specification
To be considered for an entry level position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Successfully completed a BS or MS degree in mechanical engineering at an ABET accredited university or college;
- A genuine interest in engineering design related to mechanical engineering;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Organized and a self-starter;
- Effective in both verbal and written communication;
- .Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word.
Academic/Commercial Experience in 2D and 3D Modeling is preferred.
Academic/Commercial Experience in computer programming is preferred.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
