Pool Technician at Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa in Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain swimming pool filtration, circulation, and water-treatment systems.
• Check and maintain chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and other water-quality levels regularly.
• Perform routine cleaning of swimming pools, filters, pumps, strainers, and surrounding areas.
• Inspect pool pumps, motors, valves, pipes, heaters, and filtration equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults, leaks, and water-circulation issues.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as required.
• Maintain proper chemical storage, handling, and usage according to safety procedures.
• Maintain daily pool water testing and maintenance records.
• Ensure the pool area, equipment, and plant room are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
• Report major technical issues and required spare parts to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Coordinate with the Lifeguard and Engineering team to ensure safe pool operations.
• Follow hotel safety, hygiene, and maintenance standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and breakdowns.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pool Technician / Swimming Pool Maintenance Technician, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of pool filtration, pumps, dosing systems, and water-treatment equipment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance is an advantage.
• Good understanding of pool chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• UAE/GCC hotel or resort experience is preferred.

Pay: AED1.00 per month
