Job Description

We are looking for a Retail Media Business Development Lead to help establish efood as the leading retail media platform for brands in Greece. Reporting to the Senior Growth & Retail Media Manager, your main focus will be unlocking a new revenue stream: brand and awareness budgets managed by media agencies and CPG marketing teams.

You will target annual and multi-year partnerships, proving the value of our Q-commerce ecosystem and embedding efood directly into brands' core media plans.

What you will do:

• Agency & Brand Partnerships: Target media agencies, holding groups, and brand marketing teams beyond traditional trade contacts. Your goal is to position efood retail media in their core media mix and establish recurring presence in their annual planning.

• End-to-End Deal Making: Manage the entire commercial pipeline, from prospecting and pitching to negotiating high-value, multi-year agreements that grow brand presence across all efood Q-commerce verticals.

• Commercial Packaging & Data Storytelling: Design full-funnel proposals (display, sponsored products, seasonal tent poles) and use platform data (reach, sales uplift, ROAS) to build solid business cases that prove bottom-line impact.

• Account Growth & Flawless Execution: Partner with our Ad Operations team and Senior Retail Media Specialists to ensure smooth campaign rollout, leading regular QBRs and performance reviews to show ROI and expand future budgets.

• Market Presence & DH Ads Integration: Act as the local face of efood retail media at industry events, while feeding Greek market insights back to the central Delivery Hero (DH Ads) product and tech teams to stay ahead of retail media trends.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience in ad sales, commercial media, or brand marketing, with a solid track record of closing sizable ad deals.

• Background in either a media agency (with real say in how client budgets get split across channels) or CPG brand marketing (deep understanding of retail and brand advertising).

• Commercial confidence and comfort with numbers; you know how to use campaign metrics to defend pricing and prove ROI.

• Strong presentation skills with the ability to hold a room of senior agency leads and brand directors.

• A practical, hands-on mindset! You enjoy closing the deal, but you also care about how the campaign actually runs day-to-day.

Nice to have:

• An existing network of contacts across Greek media agencies and FMCG brand teams.

• Working knowledge of programmatic buying and retail media trends.
