Position Title: ELV Technician
Location: Doha, Qatar

Role

The ELV Technician is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems and equipment. The role ensures smooth operations, compliance with safety standards, and effective technical support across facility management projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and troubleshoot systems and equipment to identify faults.
• Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
• Read repair manuals and liaise with engineers and other professionals.
• Prepare reports, safety regulations, and preventive maintenance plans.
• Source and procure replacement parts as required.
• Negotiate with suppliers and clients for technical solutions.
• Repair or replace faulty ELV equipment.
• Fabricate components when necessary.
• Provide time and material cost estimates before starting jobs.
• Stay updated with advancements in ELV technology and attend workshops.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or related trade certificate in Electrical / ELV systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Hindi.
• Well‑groomed, neat, and professional appearance.
• Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, structured cabling, etc.).
• Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
