Danube Home - UAE is seeking an Import-Export Coordinator to manage and coordinate the import and export processes, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations.

The Import-Export Coordinator will play a crucial role in our retail home business, overseeing the entire import and export process. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade regulations and excellent organizational skills. The coordinator will work closely with our team to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the import and export processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and local laws.
• Monitor and track the movement of goods, providing regular updates to the team.
• Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Negotiate and manage shipping contracts, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and review import and export documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Handle import and export inquiries, providing timely responses and solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations, implementing necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with the finance team for accurate invoicing and payment processes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import-export coordination or a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with an eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data management and analysis.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and adapt to changes.
