Senior Data Engineer at CXC Philippines in Ortigas

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines that power business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Business Stakeholders, and Technology Teams to build reliable, high-performing, and secure data solutions across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration from multiple sources.
• Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Develop scalable data solutions using modern cloud and big data technologies.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Support data migration, transformation, and integration projects.
• Implement CI/CD practices and automation for data engineering processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and architecture diagrams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to data engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Big Data development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and database design.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data in large-scale environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar data platforms.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or Informatica.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and data governance frameworks.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
