Position: A/C Engineer

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced A/C Engineer to join our team. As an A/C Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the air conditioning and ventilation systems on board our clients' vessels. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all air conditioning and ventilation systems on board the vessel

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with A/C and ventilation systems

• Order and maintain inventory of necessary parts and equipment for repairs

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all systems are functioning properly and efficiently

• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed

• Train and supervise junior A/C technicians

• Communicate with other crew members and superiors to ensure smooth operation of all systems on board

• Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while performing duties

• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices for A/C and ventilation systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an A/C Engineer on board a vessel

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

• Willingness to work long hours and be on call for emergencies

• Valid certification in A/C and refrigeration systems preferred
