$3,000 Retention Bonus for Senior-Level Technicians Relocation Assistance Available for the Right Candidate

Let’s be direct.

We’re not looking for average technicians.

Crawford Mechanical Services is building a team of high-level HVAC/R professionals who take pride in their work, solve problems without being babysat, and want to be part of something bigger than just running service calls.

If you’re solid, we’ll invest in you. If you’re top-tier, we’ll make sure you’re paid and treated like it.

Who You Are

You know your way around commercial HVAC/R systems and don’t need someone standing over your shoulder to figure things out.

• You can diagnose issues—not just swap parts
• You understand how systems actually work (not just what the manual says)
• You take ownership of your jobs and your customers
• You don’t cut corners, and you don’t make excuses

Whether you’re a developing tech or a senior-level technician, we’re hiring based on capability—not just years.

What We Offer

• $3,000 retention bonus for senior-level technicians
• Relocation assistance available
• Competitive pay based on skill—not just tenure
• Full benefits: medical, dental, vision
• 401(k) with company match
• Steady, high-level work (data centers, industrial, mission-critical environments)
• Ongoing training and development—we actually invest in our people
• A team that respects good technicians and doesn’t micromanage

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC/R systems
• Working on a range of equipment (RTUs, split systems, chillers, boilers, refrigeration, etc.)
• Performing preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Handling installs, startups, and system commissioning
• Communicating clearly with customers on issues, repairs, and recommendations
• Documenting work accurately (notes, photos, parts, quotes)
• Participating in an on-call rotation
• Representing the company professionally on every job

Senior-level techs will also:

• Handle complex diagnostics independently
• Work on large/critical systems in industrial environments
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians

What You Bring

• EPA 608 Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, refrigeration, airflow, controls)
• Comfort working independently in the field
• Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Senior-Level Candidates:

• 5+ years commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience
• Strong experience with complex systems (chillers, boilers, low temp refrigeration, etc.)
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems without trial-and-error
