Senior Accountant at Craft Line Carpentry LLC in Sharjah

The Role

We are seeking a driven financial professional to manage financial governance, automation, and internal controls for our UAE operations. Working closely with our Dubai headquarters, you will act as a critical financial bridge, ensuring all data is accurate, transparent, and optimized for executive decision-making. This role demands precision, a proactive approach to risk management, and a knack for continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting & Compliance: Lead full account and audit finalization in strict adherence to IFRS. Prepare detailed MIS reports for the MD, review Trial Balances, reconcile GLs, analyze financial variances, and coordinate closely with external auditors.
• Month-End Close: Drive the monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring all deadlines are strictly met and discrepancies are swiftly resolved.
• UAE VAT & Tax: Handle end-to-end UAE VAT compliance, including returns, reconciliations, and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) coordination.
• Process Automation: Streamline operations and reduce manual errors by building automated dashboards, trackers, and financial models using Power BI, Excel VBA, and Macros.
• Controls & Risk: Perform risk assessments, strengthen internal and dual controls across Finance and Operations, and comprehensively document all business processes.
• Administration: Ensure smooth third-party payment processing, maintain strict control over company fixed assets, and manage regulatory document storage.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification: Fully or part-qualified professional in accounting/finance (CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Experience:
• Part-Qualified (e.g., CA Inter, ACCA Affiliate): Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in account finalization, reporting, and MIS preparation.
• Fully Qualified: Relevant experience commensurate with professional standing.
• Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to manage high-responsibility tasks, independently problem-solve, and translate complex financial data into actionable management insights.
• Communication: Clear, professional communication skills essential for seamless daily coordination with the Dubai headquarters and external stakeholders.
