Intern-AI Automation & Process Analyst at CPI Card Group in Remote

Summary: CPI Card Group is a payment technology company seeking a highly motivated and AI-driven Summer Intern to assist in the use of Artificial Intelligence and automation across finance and business operations processes. The intern will work closely with technology and finance teams to identify operational inefficiencies and build automation solutions using AI-powered tools. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to identify processes suitable for automation - Develop and implement AI-assisted solutions for data processing, reporting, workflow orchestration, document generation, and financial operations support - Research and propose practical AI use cases, leveraging tools such as Copilot, Claude, and other automation platforms (n8n, PowerApps, Power Automate) - Analyze business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability - Establish and document best practices for responsible AI usage within the organization - Participate in regular check-ins with mentors and project leads to ensure progress and alignment - Present findings and results to stakeholders, including use cases and impact assessments - Build prototypes and lightweight production automations using: - Use AI tools to accelerate development, documentation, reporting, and workflow creation - Create AI-assisted solutions for tasks such as: - Data processing - Reporting automation - Workflow orchestration - Document generation - Process analysis - Financial operations support Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field - Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, automation, and process optimization - Experience or familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, etc.) and scripting/automation (Python, Power Automate, etc.) - Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills - Proactive problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn - Interest in business operations and process improvement Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with n8n - Experience with Microsoft Power Automate - Experience with Excel automation - Experience with APIs and integrations - Experience with Python, JavaScript, or scripting languages - Experience with workflow automation platforms - Exposure to finance, accounting, or operational business processes - Experience building personal projects, automations, or AI-powered workflows - Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI-assisted development practices Required Skills: Artificial Intelligence, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, n8n, Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Python, JavaScript, APIs, Excel automation, Workflow orchestration, Scripting Benefits: Competitive pay rates and an inclusive, empowering and rewarding culture., Solid benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, FSA, HSA, Vacation and Holiday Pay, Tuition Reimbursement and 401(k) with a competitive company match percentage.
