Electrical Draughtsman at Confidential in Dubai

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Draughtsman to join our technical team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for various projects.

Responsibilities

- Prepare electrical layouts, shop drawings, schematics, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.

- Develop cable routing, containment, equipment location, and installation drawings.

- Prepare and update drawings based on project requirements, site conditions, and consultant/client comments.

- Produce as-built drawings upon completion of installation works.

- Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other relevant disciplines.

- Review technical documents, specifications, and design information before preparing drawings.

- Assist engineers and project teams with drawing revisions and technical documentation.

- Maintain proper drawing registers, revision records, and document organization.

- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and specifications.

- Support the preparation of material quantities and technical submissions when required.

Requirements

- Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Electrical Draughtsman.

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

- Good understanding of electrical systems, cable routing, containment, wiring diagrams, and installation practices.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural, electrical, and MEP drawings.

- Good attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to manage drawing revisions and work within project deadlines.

- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Previous experience working on projects in the UAE is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ELV or low-current systems is an advantage.

- Knowledge of Revit or other drafting/design software is an advantage.

- Familiarity with technical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
