Position Description
Position Title: Information Technology (IT) Manager
Supervisor: Director of Administration
The Information Technology Manager is responsible for installing and maintaining computer hardware, software and networks.
Scope:
The IT Manager manages and provides hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and recommendations about future planning and development of resources. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access to and implementation of technology services and resources.
Responsibilities:
-Manage information technology and computer systems. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and office equipment.
-Ensure proper security protocols are employed when HIPAA-related or other confidential information is being exchanged.
-Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development.
-Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
-Control the computer systems budgets and expenditures.
Principal Activities
- Troubleshoot all day-to-day technology issues
- Inventory technology purchases and maintain documentation
- Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
- Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources
- Research current and potential resources and services
- Provide network access to incoming and existing staff as necessary
- Install work stations
- Connect and set up hardware and phone systems
- Load all required software on laptops, desktops, and agency cell phones
- Provide network accounts and passwords as required for new hires
- Monitor the security of all technology
- Input and maintain IP addresses
- Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status
- Ensure installation of lock out programs
- Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate
- Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal
- Perform other related duties as required during working hours

Credentials / Academic Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, an Associate's Degree in Information Technology preferred, and two years of progressively responsible related work experience. Must be a Microsoft 365 administrator, Cloud-based services including Zoom and GoToMeeting; HIPAA compliant telehealth software; experience working with computer systems; phone systems, and network servers.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
