What You'll Do
As a Right at Home caregiver, you'll provide personalized support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
· Personal care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
· Toileting and incontinence care
· Ambulation, positioning, and transfers
· Hoyer lift and gait belt assistance
· Medication reminders
· Range-of-motion exercises
· Blood glucose monitoring assistance
· Foley and bed-bound client care
· Hospice supportive care
· Meal preparation
· Companionship and social engagement
· Light housekeeping
· Transportation to errands and medical appointments
· Following the client's individualized plan of care
· Communicating changes or concerns to the care team
Client-specific tasks are performed within the caregiver's qualifications and permitted scope and may require training or instruction from a Right at Home nurse.

Successful caregivers show up when scheduled, communicate when something changes, respect each client's home and preferences, protect dignity and privacy, and follow the established plan of care.
Experience in the following areas is especially valuable:
· Personal care and activities of daily living
· Hoyer lifts and transfer assistance (preferred but not required)
· Range-of-motion exercises
· Foley care
· Hospice and bed-bound client care
· Incontinence care
· Companionship
· Meal preparation
· Light housekeeping
