Job Description
Summary: The Clinton Foundation is dedicated to improving lives through public service and civic engagement. The Consultant Intern will support the Clinton Policy Institute by conducting policy research, assisting with written deliverables, and providing operational and administrative support across various policy areas.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Institute’s policy development efforts by monitoring developments in areas of focus and by regularly drafting policy memos and briefings related to health, child safety and wellbeing, economic security, and democratic resilience and civic engagement
- Assist with the organization of documents, folders, and spreadsheets to keep program materials clear and accessible
- Support in the monitoring of project deadlines, milestones and deliverables for various projects
- Support with tasks related to in-person and virtual convenings as needed
- Attend brainstorming sessions and events as scheduled and assigned
- Support in the review and refinement of event collateral, as well as day-of logistics
- Collaborate with team members and manager to set clear goals and periodically discuss progress against those goals
- Comply with Clinton Foundation policies and procedures as presented to intern
Required Qualifications:
- Proactive and eager to raise their hand when help is needed
- Ability to continuously look for opportunities to add value to the team
- Ability to commit to working anywhere from 25 – 29 hours per week (part-time) or 40 hours per week (full-time)
- Proof of academic credit for the internship
- Strong organizational skills to assist with the organization of documents, folders, and spreadsheets
- Ability to monitor project deadlines, milestones, and deliverables for various projects
- Ability to support tasks related to in-person and virtual convenings
- Ability to attend brainstorming sessions and events as scheduled and assigned
- Ability to support in the review and refinement of event collateral and day-of logistics
- Ability to collaborate with team members and manager to set clear goals and discuss progress against those goals
