Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Branch Operations Manager is to provide leadership and direction necessary for the local branch to achieve acceptable customer satisfaction and efficient use of assigned resources. The Branch Operations Manager also manages all functions, staff, and daily operations of their local branch; and develops sales plans to ensure that branch sales and service goals are fully achieved.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manages day-to-day operations and activities to ensure operational integrity and compliance with all branch policies and procedures.
• Provides personnel management, coaching, and supervision of branch staff.
• Leads in maximizing branch revenues, sales, and customer satisfaction as well as minimizing operating loss.
• Provides leadership and direction necessary to ensure customer satisfaction, profitability, quality of services, along with communication/coordination between Branch Operations, Sales and Accounting as directed by the VP of Operations.
• Responsible for recruitment, staffing, training and supervisor functions for branch employees – with the exception of Sales Associates.
• Provide support to all branch operations and manage all communication with branch staff in meetings.
• Responsible for implementation and consistent enforcement of company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Hold Technicians accountable for timely submission of paperwork and expense reports.
• Monitors invoicing activities and ensures all requirements are met accurately and timely.
• Review, complete and submit all corporate required reports.
• Ensure work areas are kept safe and maintained.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years as a Manager or similar position in a service operations environment having supervisory and scheduling responsibilities.
• Prior responsibility for customer relations, problem resolution and scheduling.
• Must possess an acceptable understanding of power supply or generator products and services.
• Be committed to providing great customer service.
• Strong PC skills.

Physical Requirements:

This position will be working primarily indoors in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment, but also requires the employee to be moving through other areas on a regular basis. From this movement, the employee will encounter varying temperatures from these areas. Normal auto and air travel hazards will apply. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be higher in other areas.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time.

The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching.

Must have command of sight, hearing, touch and smell. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements in each area must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to closed forms. are in search of an example position to join our general team.
