Clera→
Founding Account Executive, US Market at Clera in Vienna
Job Description
About the Role
Join an early-stage AI communications SaaS team to lead its US go-to-market efforts. You will win initial customers, establish a repeatable sales motion, and work closely with the founders and cross-functional colleagues as the business grows its presence in the US.
What You'll Do
Launch localized US landing pages, messaging, and demand-generation tracking with marketing support.
Run discovery calls and product demonstrations, then close early customer deals.
Turn customer and market learnings into a repeatable US sales process and playbook.
Identify and activate partner channels, including pitching partners and enabling co-selling.
Onboard and support early customers, capturing feedback to improve the product and positioning.
Collaborate with founders and colleagues across marketing and technology to execute and iterate quickly.
Grow into the primary US market owner, with the potential to hire and lead a local team.
What We're Looking For
Native English fluency and experience selling to the US market.
Experience as an Account Executive, with a record of closing startup or transactional sales. Enterprise-only sales experience is not a fit.
Founder/operator experience or strong sales, business development, partnerships, or growth experience at a high-growth SaaS startup.
Experience building early-stage US go-to-market efforts, including discovery, demos, closing, and establishing a repeatable sales motion.
Experience building partner channels and co-selling programs, as well as onboarding customers and gathering product feedback.
Comfort creating localized messaging and landing pages, and using basic tracking or analytics to assess demand.
CRM and sales analytics experience, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, is useful. AI or SaaS experience in customer communications is also relevant.
Self-directed, execution-focused, and comfortable collaborating across marketing and engineering.
Willingness to work on-site in Vienna for 3 to 6 months for onboarding and kickoff. Relocation or a remote arrangement may be possible afterward.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000 to $150,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
On-site in Vienna, Austria, for the initial 3 to 6 months. Relocation or remote setup may be possible afterward.
