The Steakhouse Busperson - On Call at Circus Circus… · Paradise

Specific Job Functions:

• Promptly clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables for arriving guests.
• Ensure tables are properly stocked with clean salt and pepper shakers, sugar, and other required items.
• Clean and sanitize chairs, booth cushions, and surrounding dining areas.
• Organize dirty dishes and utensils properly in bus carts.
• Maintain clean supplies and equipment in assigned bus carts and side stations.
• Serve and refill water, coffee, and soft drinks as needed.
• Work closely with Food Servers to anticipate guest needs and provide timely, attentive service.
• Maintain dining room floors and ensure they remain free of spills, debris, and safety hazards.
• Immediately report spills, hazards, or unsafe conditions to the appropriate team member or supervisor.
• Return all lost-and-found items to management immediately.
• Keep bus carts clean, organized, and properly stored after each use.
• Assist with cleaning and restocking side stations, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous bus person, fine dining, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Friendly, upbeat, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to interact respectfully and effectively with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform duties that include bending, reaching, carrying dishes, and moving supplies.
• Must successfully complete required restaurant menu-knowledge testing; training materials will be provided.
• Must wear black, slip-resistant shoes as part of the required uniform.
