IT Procurement Specialist at CENTRAL SYSTEM COMPUTERS L.L.C in Dubai

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented IT Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing and purchasing of IT hardware, software, and technology-related products. The ideal candidate should have strong vendor management, negotiation, inventory planning, and cost optimization skills, along with a good understanding of the IT products and market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable IT suppliers and vendors, while sourcing products based on pricing, availability, quality, warranty, and delivery requirements.
• Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, licensing, warranties, and service level agreements (SLAs), and compare supplier quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Manage purchase orders, deliveries, backorders, supplier commitments, and procurement documentation, ensuring accurate records and timely follow-up.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and asset lifecycles to maintain optimal stock availability for customer and internal requirements.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, warehouse, and finance teams to forecast purchasing needs and manage procurement according to budgets.
• Analyze IT spending and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor product availability and pricing, and support informed purchasing decisions.
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as delivery delays, shortages, warranty concerns, and discrepancies, while ensuring smooth supplier relationships.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT procurement field or technology purchasing, with strong knowledge of computer hardware, IT products, components, accessories, software, and related technologies.
• MBA or a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
• CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience in vendor sourcing, supplier management, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, and purchasing.
• Good understanding of purchase orders, payment terms, warranties, licensing, SLAs, and supplier agreements.
• Experience in inventory planning, stock management, cost analysis, and procurement/ERP systems, with good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with sales, engineering, finance, and warehouse teams and manage multiple purchasing requirements independently.
• Any nationality may apply. Fluency in English is required (Arabic is a plus). UAE Driving License is preferred (optional).
