Finance Intern, Summer 2026 at Centerfield in Los Angeles, CA

Summary: Centerfield is a company that delivers outcome-based digital marketing solutions and personalized omnichannel experiences for leading brands. The Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience in financial planning & analysis and business analytics, working closely with finance and strategy teams to support financial reporting and data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: - Assist in financial forecasting, account reconciliation, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making - Compile internal daily and monthly KPI reporting to management - Analyze key business metrics, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize financial performance - Prepare financial workbooks for leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights - Compile data and prepare a variety of financial reports related to revenue reconciliation and recognition - Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies - Prepare account reconciliations as part of the monthly close process for revenue, A/R, deferred revenue, and/or other areas as assigned - Support cross-functional teams by providing financial insights and recommendations - Collaborate with stakeholders to develop models and reports that drive business efficiency - Gain exposure to executive-level discussions on financial strategy and planning Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recent grad with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - Team player who exhibits effective interpersonal skills with a collaborative style and has an eagerness to learn - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail - Ability to communicate clearly and effectively - A self-starter with strong attention to detail who is well organized, can think creatively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - Prior internship or coursework in FP&A, business analytics, or corporate finance - Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) Required Skills: Financial forecasting, Data analysis, Financial reporting Important Skills: Microsoft Excel Nice-to-Have Skills: Interpersonal skills, Problem-solving, Communication skills, Organizational skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Weekly pay!, Interactive, onsite new-hire orientation for your first week to meet your peers!, End-of-summer internship commencement with presentations in front of our C-suite, Be assigned a personal mentor for daily support and guidance, Career-focused workshop presentations from Centerfield’s key stakeholders, Unlimited free snacks and drinks around the office!, Monthly happy hours, catered Thursday lunches, Award winning culture & unprecedented team spirit (featured in LA Business Journal & Built In LA Best places to work), Monthly team outings (ball games, casino night, hikes, etc.), Career growth – we enjoy promoting from within!
